Rocket Your Business Into The 21st Century With This Clever TechYour business isn’t going to have stellar performance if you embrace a neo-Luddite position where you avoid tech. In fact, there are many ways in which tech can help you succeed. Read on to find out what they are.

VR and AR

One way in which you can use tech to bring your business into the 21st century is by utilizing VR and AR. VR is virtual reality, and AR is augmented reality.

Now, right this moment AR is probably your best bet as a vast majority of people have access to smartphones which can run AR apps. Also, as this is still a reasonably new technology, there are many clever ways in which it can be utilized from gamification, marketing, and even getting a sense of how your product would fit in with a customer surroundings.

Of course, VR is a big deal too, but for the moment the general public’s’ use of this is limited with significantly fewer people having access to a headset. However, that is not to say that it won’t be used for things like video conferencing and even product demonstrations in the future. Although, the cost of the hardware included will probably have to come down a bit first.

High tech payments

Next, a smart way to bring your business firmly into the 21st century is to embrace non-traditional forms of payment. Don’t worry we’re not talking about bartering your product for some goats milk here, instead, why not embrace more technologically advanced payment platforms?

One such platform is the mobile card reader, a device that can transform your phone into a card payment station. Something that means you can take payments when visiting customers, running a pop-up shop, or when you’re on the road.

Also, don’t forget that convenience is king right now and if you have a website on which you offer products for sale it’s an excellent idea to investigate an e-payment system like PayPal or Apple Pay into this.

In fact, you may already be losing purchases simply because the customer didn’t want to spend the time filling in a payment form, and as e-pay allows almost instant access, it can be a much smarter solution.

Tracking and planning software

Lastly, to truly bring your business into the 21st century technologically, you will need to look at the way in which you are using software. In fact, this is an area in which technological developments are occurring all of the time. Advances that could make your business more productive, effective, and profitable.

To start with consider installing ERP software so you can better manage the resources that you have at your disposal. Alternatively, you may wish to use just productivity monitoring software.

Something that will allow your managers, to track what tasks still need to be done, which are in progress, and whether any have ground to a halt. Such software can also help managers praise and motivate employees as well, and so better lead their team and get things done more effectively.
