Everyone is on social media, and there are various methods to find someone’s account. Some users’ social media activity may vary depending on the person because some are not very active on these platforms. Those who are not active tend to be slightly harder to find, but it is doable. Others may use different names that do not relate to their real name, so those might be harder to find, but we will cover exactly how you can find someone on social media.

Ways To Find Someone On Social Media

Even though this sometimes can be challenging, you can find virtually anyone by searching on social media. It is crucial to decide what social platform you would like to find the person on to narrow your search. Whether you are using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform, you can use these methods to find someone on the app.

Search Feature

All social media apps have a search feature to help with people search or to locate specific events, pages, and lots more. Facebook would be a great place to start, and you can search for the person’s name, phone number, date of birth, or any other information you know about them. A list will appear with all the accounts linked to what you have searched.

Check Mutual Friends/Followers

The next step you can take to find someone is to look for them on a friends list on Facebook of a mutual friend or family member. If you can locate someone they are friends with, they might appear as a friend or follow the account. For Instagram and Twitter, you will see what mutual followers you have by clicking on following on another profile. You now easily see who they are friends with, and maybe the person you are searching for may appear.

Use Social Media Lookup Site

A social media look-up site is perfect for finding someone on social media. An excellent example is ClickSearch. All you need is the name or phone number and enter it into the website. They will run the entered information through their extensive database and provide a report with everything from social media accounts, education, marriage records, criminal history, and lots more.

Search On Google

Searching with Google is a great place to go if you do not know much information about the person. Google may be your last resort, but it is a powerful tool to help you find out more information, especially social media accounts. Enter the name of the person you would like to find and the platform following, and Google can deliver the profile and lots more. Google even allows you to image search, so if you have a photo, you can search that and might be able to find the account.

Web Address Search

Another technique you can use is after the platform URL, you can enter the person’s name, and if there is a match, the profile will appear. Commonly, people will use their real names on social media accounts. Or, if you know a common nickname, you might search for that at the end of the URL. This is always an excellent way to find someone on social media.

The Best Way To Find Someone On Social Media

Using any of the methods mentioned may work for you; however, using ClickSearch is the best way to find someone on social media. When searching with the site, it is perfect for delivering the social media accounts you are looking for and lots more. They even offer a trial membership that is only $0.95. All you need is the full name or phone number, and ClickSearch will take care of the rest. They make the search process easy, so you only have to enter what you know. Find that social media account you have been looking for today with ClickSearch.
