The tray for new documents is the perfect solution for people who come into your office and throw work assignments onto your desk. Simply show them the tray where they should be placed. This tray should include all the things that you need to take care of, such as documents, folders, and envelopes. The old tray includes items that you have dealt with but may need to scan, forward, or file later on. This is a great way to get rid of paper clutter on your desk.
Put up motivational reminders
It is a great idea to have an area on your wall where you are going to put up items that will inspire you and motivate you to work. It often happens that you lose the motivation and get distracted by other things, so this is the place where inspirational images and messages should be in order to get you back on track. It can be whatever works for you, an image of something that reminds you of your goals, or a framed motivational message.
