Custom t-shirts play an important role in any kind of business and are a popular item for marketing your business. It is safe to say that they are effective in marketing. This is true especially that these are Personalised clothing that you can get designed as per your specification.

There can be countless ways to spend your money on marketing but custom t-shirts offer a great advantage when it comes to marketing your own business and can yield many positive benefits. With Canva’s custom T-shirt feature, people and companies can easily and conveniently design unique T-shirts for a variety of occasions, including events, promotions, and personal usage.

Listed below are 5 benefits of custom-designed t-shirts that can help your business prosper. You could also tap on the top of the page “Click here to get this post in PDF”.

Inexpensive to produce

It depends on the number of t-shirts you want to produce, but, getting t-shirts printed in a bulk order can be relatively cheap and last you a long time because of the amount being produced.

Screen printing is the most common technique of printing t-shirts but is usually expensive compared to other forms of techniques.

For easily transferring a printed image laser transfer paper can be used and pressed on the shirt with a heated iron to print the desired image. This method is the easiest and the most cost-effective and can yield great results if done properly and is known as  DTF print.

Vinyl cutting can also be used to get great results and gives you the option of using different layers to print different colors. But it is usually used in printing sports clothing.

However, this is the best option if you want to print one-off designs and produce them in large numbers.

Keep your design simple and use 2 to 3 different colors to keep your overall cost low. Order in bulk to get discounts and go for a relatively cheaper method. If you are thinking of producing your own t-shirts, check out online retailers like ecofreen.us which carry premium-quality digital printing products.

As Uniforms

Employees wearing t-shirts as uniforms can become a positive influence on a company.

T-shirts are a very good choice of a casual uniform that a company can give to their employees. Wearing the same clothes every day saves time for your employees and remove the hassle of choosing something different to wear every day on the job.

T-shirts as uniforms are comfortable to wear on a day to day basis. They usually have short sleeves and soft cotton material and can be made in different sizes to fit different sized people.

They can be tucked in to give a professional look for the employees and usually avoid getting the employee sweaty on those hot summer days.

T-shirts with different posts can be given to people with managerial positions, while salespersons can have their t-shirts with “salespeople” printed on them, easily identifying which employees hold which post in the company.

Having custom T-shirts as uniforms can help create a very calm environment at the workplace so that employees can work at their very best and comfortable.

Marketing Material

Perhaps the most important marketing strategy is through your brand logo being printed on T-shirts. Your employees wearing your company branded t-shirts turn into a walking billboard of promotion for your business.

Whatever you print on your t-shirt be sure to print what your business is all about. Don’t let people guess what your business does. Whether you run a restaurant or a plumbing business, say so on the shirt.

You can add an interesting line of tests on the shirt to grab people’s attention. Keeping with the example of running a restaurant you can write something like “where food is served fresh” followed by your restaurant logo.

People are usually curious to read what is written on it so use bold and large text to grab attention.

Alternately, you can also choose to print your company slogan on the t-shirt rather than the line of text as it also attracts people’s attention.

Having your branded T-shirts as giveaways can also help you promote your company or business. People wearing them can spread the word for you and give great benefits for bringing in more and more business in the future.

Team Unity

In today’s world, people are united to symbols and logos and have a sense of unity to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Has it ever crossed your mind why different professional sports teams wear custom-designed team uniforms? Corporate teams have recognized that the need for custom t-shirts goes far beyond the identification of the team.

Custom t-shirts can easily inject your corporate team with a sense of unity, team spirit and the will to work even harder. A team is meant to stay united and work together to overcome the hardest of hurdles placed in front of them.

When every employee is wearing the same custom t-shirt it creates a sense of unity that they are working together to achieve a common goal instead of focusing on individual achievements.

Boosting team morale can be a crucial part of any business and why not do it through your custom T-shirts

Be it a logo or a text of your choosing on your custom t-shirt, it creates a greater sense of unity amongst the employees and should help your business thrive for the foreseeable future.

Sell As Merchandise

A custom t-shirt is an opportunity to flex your creative muscles. A well-designed custom T-shirt will help create a powerful aesthetic that people would want to be associated with.

And better yet, if the quality and design is amazing and visually pleasing they will come back keep buying more of your merchandise

Not all businesses can make money by selling their own branded T-shirts as merchandise.

The chances are nobody would want a t-shirt from their plumber or the restaurant they go for dinner or lunch at. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t businesses that can turn this into a stream of revenue.

If your company has branded t-shirts of its own with a nice and hip design then you are in luck.

Many people will buy t-shirts from a company they are loyal to and passionate about. Selling your custom company t-shirts can help you uniquely interact with your customers.

It helps you enforce your brand relevance to the customer and create a positive relationship. Building brand affinity is not easy and what better way to achieve this is by putting your branded t-shirts on a customer’s back.

Selling your custom T-shirts as merchandise can be a great way to boost your sales and help bring that ever needed precious stream of revenue for your company.

The Final Say

It is safe to say that the benefits of printing your custom t-shirts outweigh the drawbacks, be it for your startup business or an already established one.

Whether you want to create unity amongst the employees and create an ever so friendly workplace environment or bring in new customers to your startup.

Great unity amongst the workplace and brand recognition around the world is the core reason why a company strives and achieves success.

Having your custom-designed t-shirts is the way to go in achieving success in your new startup or an already established company.

Having these custom t-shirts will likely return you more revenue and is a relatively cheap way of spreading the word to people across the world whether you decide to sell them off as merchandise or give them away as a gift for free. Either way, it can turn into a very big positive for you and help your business reach heights it has never seen before.

I find it interesting how you mentioned that corporate teams can feel united and inspired to work together with custom t-shirts. It gives everyone something that they can wear in common that isn’t your typical work uniform. If I owned a business I would make new t-shirts or my employees to wear all the time during different seasons so that everyone can feel like one big progressive team.

My neighbors and I started a book club this year and want to make some fun gifts for all of us to share. I think that finding an online t-shirt printing company would be fun so we could all have matching shirts to wear to our meetings. It’s also great that custom shirts can help you to have a sort of team spirit and boost team morale since you all match and look united.
