The emergence of new digital platforms, especially social media sites, have given small and medium-scale businesses the opportunity to reach hundreds and even thousands of potential customers on the Internet easier and more efficiently. Restrictions that businesses concerned themselves with in traditional marketing – mostly concerning location and hours of contact – have now been eliminated with the Digital Age. Nowadays, businesses can reach far and wide despite being restricted to a singular space.

That said, social media sites not only extend your business’ market reach, but it is also one of the easiest ways to build your referral network. Referred to as “a group of business owners and professionals who try to promote each other – either through word of mouth and referrals – to gain more sales and leads,” a referral network is a strategy that is sought for its ability to add value to your business and customers.

How do you, then, build your own referral network and reap its numerous benefits? Check out this infographic by Business Coaches Sydney and find out more!
