It’s not about how good it looks, but also how easy it is to use as well. Websites that are not designed well, tend to perform poorly and have sub-optimal Google Analytics metrics (e.g. low page per visit views and high bounce rates). This can have a huge impact on your business success, which is why it’s so important to make sure that you have an effective web design. Having a consistent web design ensures that your website looks coherent and works harmoniously across all its different levels. Making sure that you ensure your web design is consistent, means that your users will have a more positive experience with your website, and will potentially use your services (and it also means that they might come back to you at a later point).

Mobile Compatibility

Something which you might not have thought about before is that your website is mobile-friendly. Most people use their phones nowadays to look something up. So, it’s really important that when you are building your website, that you pick a responsive layout where your website can adjust to different screens (e.g. phones, tablets and computers). The more compatible your website is with different devices, the more likely it that people will stick with you.

If a potential customer finds out that they can’t read or open your website on their mobile phone, then they will probably go to your competitor who has a website that is mobile-friendly. If you don’t fix this issue, then you will find that you could lose customers.
