One of the most important elements to add to a roofing website is a call-to-action. A call-to-action (or CTA) is an invitation for your visitors to take some kind of action that will benefit your business.

It could be something as simple as a button prompting someone to contact you or something more complex like signing up for an email list. Regardless of the type of CTA you have, it’s essential that you place it in the right spot on your website.

Let’s look at some tips for effective CTA placement on roofing websites.

Below the Fold Placement

One of the most common places to put a CTA is “below the fold”, which means placing it further down your page so that people need to scroll down in order to see it.

This strategy works well if you want people to read more about your services before they are prompted with a CTA.

Having said that, if you have too much content before your CTA, people may forget about it altogether and never reach the bottom of your page! So use this placement sparingly and make sure all content leading up to the CTA is relevant and succinct.

Above The Fold Placement

Another option is above the fold placement, which means placing CTAs toward the top of your webpage where they are visible without any scrolling needed.

This type of placement encourages visitors to take action right away before they can get too distracted or overwhelmed by other content on your page.

However, many webmasters find that their visitors need more information before taking action, so placing above the fold needs to be done carefully and strategically.

CTA Buttons

Once you’ve decided where you want to place your call-to-action, consider how best to present it visually! A great way is through buttons—make sure their color stands out from other text or images on your page so visitors can easily spot them when they arrive at your page.

Additionally, make sure each button contains clear text that tells visitors exactly what action they should take (e.g., “Schedule Now” or “Contact Us Today”). Again, using strong visuals and concise language will help ensure visitors take notice and click through!

Design Matters

When putting together the design of your CTA, try not to make it overly complicated or cluttered with too much text or graphics.

Keep it simple; use bright colors instead of dull ones and ensure the text stands out against any background images you might use.

You want people to be able to quickly identify what they are clicking on so they feel comfortable taking action when they land on your site.

Optimizing for Mobile Devices

More and more people are using their mobile devices for web browsing these days, so it’s important that your website takes this into account when designing CTAs.

Your CTA should be just as visible on mobile devices as it is on desktop computers, if not more so. Make sure the font size is large enough for readers to see without squinting or zooming in too much, and keep any images small enough, so they don’t slow down loading times or take up too much screen space. You may also want to consider adding a “Click Here” link in addition to the CTA button itself. That way, if visitors can’t find what they’re looking for right away, they can still easily access it by clicking the link instead of manually searching through all of your content.

Conclusion:

When it comes time for visitors on roofing websites to decide whether or not they should contact you for services or sign up for an email list, having a call-to-action placed strategically on your site can make all the difference! Consider placing CTAs below or above the fold depending on what kind of information you want people to read first; then, create bold, eye-catching buttons with clear text encouraging them to take action immediately. With these tips in mind, optimizing CTAs for roofing websites should be easy and effective!
