The jewellery industry has been hit hard with declining sales in recent years. One of the main reasons for this is that customers are no longer walking into physical stores to make their purchases. This is because online shopping is more convenient and often cheaper. To increase customer walk-ins to your jewellery store, you will need to make a few changes in how you operate.

Make your store more inviting

One of the reasons why customers may not be walking into your store is because it looks uninviting from the outside. This means that you will need to put some effort into making your storefront look more appealing. This can be done by adding some colourful signage, making sure that the windows are clean and clear, and generally just making the overall appearance of the store more inviting.

Offer something unique

For customers to want to walk into your store, you will need to offer them something that they cannot find at any other jewellery store. This could be anything from unique jewellery pieces to a VIP customer service experience. If you can offer something that no one else can, then you will surely increase the number of customer walk-ins.

Educate your staff

Your staff plays a huge role in whether or not customers will want to walk into your store. If they are not knowledgeable about the products that you offer or if they do not provide good customer service, then this will reflect negatively on your store and deter customers from walking in. Therefore, educate your staff on the products and services you offer, as well as how to provide excellent customer service.

Advertise

If people don’t know that your store exists, then they obviously won’t be walking in. So make sure to advertise your store in both online and offline channels. This could include placing ads in local newspapers, setting up social media accounts, and running online marketing campaigns.

Have a diverse selection of jewellery

If you want to attract a variety of customers, you need to make sure that you have a diverse selection of jewellery. This means having both high-end and low-end pieces, as well as a mix of different styles. For example, buy preciosa colour charts to show your customers the variety of colours they could have in their jewels. By having various jewellery, you will be able to appeal to a wider range of customers and increase the likelihood of them walking into your store.

Offer special promotions

Another great way to increase customer walk-ins is to offer special promotions and discounts. This could be anything from a percentage off of certain items to buy one get one free deal. By offering these kinds of specials, you will be able to entice customers into your store who may not have otherwise walked in

Make sure your store is convenient

If your store is not located in a convenient area, then this will definitely deter customers from walking in. Ensure your store is easily accessible and located in a safe area. You should also have plenty of parking available so that customers can easily park and walk into your store without any issues.

By following these tips, you will be well on your way to increasing customer walk-ins to your jewellery store.
