A good time schedule provides management with basic data and insight into all business processes and the dynamics of productivity with employees. This applies equally to teams as well as to individual team members. A clock in clock out system is used for this purpose. This is a way to achieve greater clarity and transparency because the data is accurate and easily accessible. It is possible to group data according to different parameters and much more. If you want to get clear and accurate reports, you need to know how to take full advantage of this app. We will happily explain this to you in a few simple steps.

Time event

There are major things used in clock in clock out system, and one of them is the time event. It contains the identifier of the employee and information on who did a certain job at a certain time. So, the time of the action, the attributes of the event and other important tasks are recorded. For example, this mainly includes location, event type, etc. Without all this data, time events would not have sufficient quality description. This app allows you to combine a set of weather event types. They are recorded via the Time Sheet UI.

Time recording

In this case, people have several options when keeping records of arrivals and departures during the working day. The first thing you should do is create an account and then a project for each person. The device on which you created the order should be close to the entrance/exit of the company. Employees will choose their names from the list of projects in order to record the number of working hours during one day. In addition, employees can use the timer on their devices to turn on and off. Although this requires more settings, it can save you a lot of time, as there will be no queues in front of the check-in device. Instead, people will record their presence with the help of Employee Attendance Tracker.

Arranging an account

Once you get the account, you will get a workspace and you will be the administrator. Then, look for the Teams option and enter the emails of the employees whose working hours will be monitored. Once they receive the invitation from you and accept it, they create their accounts and join the workspace where you are the administrator. In this space, they can create time maps, record working hours in a personal schedule, use a timer, etc.

Automatic on and off of the clock

If you want to use a computer timer, you should invite team members to install a browser extension on their computers. After that, enable automatic start and press default project. Pay attention to the person working on the team dashboard.

Pause calculation

Calculating the break depends on the needs of the employees. That is why it is best to make a project for each person and two tasks. These are work and break. Depending on what they need, they will choose one item. You can also create a Breaks project that people will use.

Conclusion:

Tracking working hours is an effective way to increase productivity. You will take all necessary corrective measures in time to prevent taking too much time and slowing down the teams. People often forget to fill in the schedule, which is another reason it is necessary to use tools as an aid.
