AI-enhanced workflow solutions for everyday tasks.

Running a business is hard. In addition to all the creative and problem-solving tasks that go into being a business leader, you must also manage monotonous, repetitive tasks such as invoices, reports, and support tickets. While many businesses hire assistants or teams to handle these tasks, that’s not always practical for small or growing businesses due to budget and salary constraints, as well as the time and challenge of onboarding.

Enter Tessa AI, an innovative new AI browsing agent designed to surpass publicly available alternatives. Tessa’s founders, Mo Nasir and Harvey Hu, approached the development of Tessa with a core guiding principle in mind: to be truly useful in enterprise settings, agentic AI must learn and improve over time, just like human employees. And they have achieved this with Tessa.

As a business’s new “AI Chief-of-Staff,” Tessa is designed to help business leaders automate repetitive workflows. These are the tasks that are frankly too menial for a leader to waste their time on, but it may be cost-prohibitive to hire a human assistant to handle them. We’re talking nearly anything a human chief-of-staff can do on a computer, from monitoring portfolios and competitors to pulling data across tabs to build reports and extracting and processing invoices.

Tessa AI: An innovative, intuitive digital work automation tool

Tessa’s wide-ranging functionality makes it a perfect solution for small teams needing high-efficiency support without adding headcount, allowing business leaders to get the assistance they need more quickly than they would be able to hire and train a new employee. The goal is for Tessa to feel just like a real teammate — only faster and more efficient.

One of the reasons why Tessa is set to revolutionize the AI agent industry is that it does not require users to have any coding or programming background. Many AI agents that are customized for unique business needs require extensive development and training before they can be useful. On the other hand, most “no-code” tools that offer drag-and-drop widgets aren’t nearly customizable enough to address business needs.

Tessa doesn’t have either of these options. Instead, it uses natural language commands to create complex, multi-step workflows that are smarter than no-code solutions, but don’t require a learning curve or an engineering degree. Yet, according to a 2022 Zapier report, “Despite the benefits of no-code tools to those without a technical background, nearly 9 in 10 users have some type of prior technical knowledge.”

Another aspect that makes the Tessa AI platform so intuitive is that it learns through demonstration. Users join a video chat and “call” Tessa, sharing their screen. They then demonstrate the intended task to the model only once, and Tessa can take it from there. The model saves these profiles, allowing them to be used for future tasks, which means that users do not need to waste days or weeks developing and training a bespoke model for their unique business applications.

Like other artificial intelligence models, Tessa is designed to improve over time, learning from users’ behaviors and feedback. Tessa can also integrate with a business’s knowledge base, reading large files with ease and learning processes and procedures specific to that business. This capability is a fundamental part of making Tessa into an effective AI teammate, not just another tool to be used.

Some other abilities that Tessa has that make it so useful for businesses include extracting data from massive tables, navigating websites, and easily handling logins. According to the WebVoyager benchmark, Tessa has achieved a state-of-the-art accuracy of 93%, meaning it can retrieve complex information precisely, often at a much more reliable level than its competitors on the AI agent market.

How Tessa helps business leaders automate repetitive tasks

So, how do these capabilities manifest themselves in actual business functions? The Tessa website lists several potential use cases in which business leaders can leverage the power of Tessa’s artificial intelligence to streamline their operations. For example, a user can have Tessa book a dinner reservation or plan upcoming travel, taking care of the process of filling out information on their behalf. Users can also utilize Tessa to conduct in-depth research on topics like trademarks, as the model can run parallel jobs across multiple sources and databases.

However, these applications are just scratching the surface of what a powerful artificial intelligence tool like Tessa can do. The team at General Agency is committed to making Tessa a full-stack digital assistant. As part of this goal, the integration roadmap includes integration with Google Workspace in the near future, which will allow Tessa to manage your calendar and inbox in Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Drive.

If you are a business owner with a small team that needs assistance, but you don’t want the hassle or expense of bringing on a new hire, consider the agentic AI solution of Tessa AI. Offering the ability to streamline workflows in an intuitive, powerful way, Tessa will inspire a revolution in the automation of repetitive tasks.
