Introduction

If you are planning to start your business in the USA, then you may feel worried that you may not be able to do the same as you do not have a Green card with you to do so. Now, the matter of fact is how you can obtain a green card? You can adopt several ways to get a green card in the USA to start your business there.

There are several ways to obtain a green card for your business. You cannot bypass these processes to start your business. Before getting the green card, you must know about the green card. Even in the Forbes study too, the importance of obtaining a green card is highlighted.

What Is A Green Card?

A green card is usually the permanent resident card you must have with you if you are an immigrant in the USA. You need to have this card with you to live and work in the USA. The green card certifies you as a permanent resident of the USA. If you have a green card with you, you will be treated as the USA’s permanent resident.

Different Ways To Obtain The Green Card

Multiple ways are there using which you can obtain a green card in the USA. You can also seek the assistance of an experienced green lawyer. They can assist you in getting a green card quickly in the USA.

1. EB-1 Green Card For Extraordinary People

Three categories of people can get the EB-1 Green card. Therefore, let’s explore those people’s names to understand who will qualify for obtaining the green card.

  • Outstanding professors and researchers
  • People who have extraordinary achievements.
  • Executives & Managers.

The first and third groups of people are job seekers; hence, the EB-1 group is mostly favorable for the second group of people. The business owners can also obtain the EB-1 Green card if their extraordinary ventures and work have created something better for society.

2. EB-2 Green Card Is For National Interest Waiver

The EB-2 green is for several groups of immigrant people who are residing in the USA. For three kinds of people, the EB-2 green card is useful.

a) For advanced degree holders, an EB-2 Green card is readily available.

b) People with exceptional ability.

c) People with a national interest waiver.

The first two groups of people are quite impressive, but the last one is for entrepreneurs. There are specific claws they have to maintain to receive the green card to start their USA business.

a) Your business must substantially benefit the US economy, technology, education, society, and the country’s culture.

b) Your past financial records and specialized degree must prove that your business will be successful in the USA.

c) Your business may be strong enough to provide job offers to the citizens of the USA.

3. EB-5 Green Card Is For The Investors

The business green is less popular than that of the EB-2 as it is used or issued for the investors who are willing to invest their money in the USA. You must showcase to the government that your investment will benefit the various enterprises in the USA. You cannot get the green business card if your investment is not contributing to society’s growth as a whole.

The amount of investment that you need to make for obtaining the green card is $1million. If you are planning to set up your business in a rural area, you need to spend $500000. Your business must have the capacity to reduce the chances of unemployment in the country. You cannot consider the facts for granted here.

Conclusion

Therefore, if you want to enhance your business, if you wish to expand it, you must consider investing your money towards the green card in the USA. Without a green card, you cannot expand your business in the USA; it is next to impossible if you are an immigrant in the USA.
