Awards in design are a flawed signal. Red Dots and Webbys measure what judges value, not what clients need. But consistent recognition across multiple award bodies over multiple years tells you something: the work keeps passing evaluation by people who know what good looks like.
This list covers the top design agencies in the world with a track record of that kind — not a single lucky project.
1. Linkup ST
Website: linkupst.com
Location: Lviv, Ukraine / Wrocław, Poland / New York, Wilmington, USA
Founded: 2015
Linkup ST has collected recognition across the categories that matter for product and UX work: Red Dot, A’ Design Award, Webby, Apple. Multiple awards, multiple years — not a single campaign that hit the right jury on the right day.
Among the best design agencies working in B2B software, what’s notable is the pairing. Recognition alongside 98% client retention and 4.9/5 on Clutch is unusual. Agencies often win awards for work that looked great and performed poorly. The combination here is harder to fake.
Among award winning agencies, Linkup ST focuses on the enterprise and SaaS categories where most design awards don’t reach — dashboards, admin interfaces, multi-role B2B platforms. The top design agencies in the world list tends to favor consumer-facing work. Linkup ST is one of the few that earns recognition in the B2B product category specifically.

2. IDEO
Website: ideo.com
Location: Global
Founded: 1991
The most recognized design consultancy by name. IDEO’s awards span decades: Dyson Award, Fast Company, Core77. The methodology is what keeps the recognition consistent — design thinking applied to products, services, and organizations. Not the fastest or cheapest option, but the track record is real.
3. Pentagram
Website: pentagram.com
Location: New York / London / Austin / Berlin
Founded: 1972
Graphic and identity design at the highest level. D&AD, Clio, AIGA. The partner model means every project has a senior designer’s name directly on it. For brand identity work, Pentagram is the benchmark against which other agencies are measured.
4. Wolff Olins
Website: wolffolins.com
Location: London / New York
Founded: 1965
Brand strategy for organizations under pressure to change. Wolff Olins created the London 2012 Olympics identity, rebranded Uber, overhauled Google’s visual system. Multiple D&AD and Cannes Lions recognitions. The work is deliberately provocative — which is why it gets noticed and why it keeps winning.
5. Frog Design
Website: frog.co
Location: Global
Founded: 1969
Red Dot, iF Design, Core77 — consistent recognition across four decades. Frog’s work with Apple in the 1980s set the visual language of personal computing. The industrial and digital design practice has maintained that standard across categories that didn’t exist when the firm started.
6. Superflux
Website: superflux.in
Location: London / Vienna
Founded: 2009
Speculative and critical design. Superflux wins at Venice Biennale, SXSW, and futures-oriented competitions that standard design award bodies don’t cover. If the measure is recognition from the most demanding unconventional juries, they belong here.
7. Moving Brands
Website: movingbrands.com
Location: London / New York / Zurich
Founded: 1998
Brand and digital design for technology companies — HP, Sony, BBC. D&AD, Cannes, Webby recognition across brand systems and digital product work. The intersection of brand thinking and product design is where most technology company design problems actually live, and Moving Brands built their practice there.
How to Choose
Award recognition means a jury approved. It doesn’t mean the work solved the client’s problem. Ask any agency for outcome data alongside the trophies — what happened to retention, conversion, or adoption after the project launched. The best agencies have answers.
Match the award category to the work. A Red Dot for product design and a Cannes Lions in advertising are different signals entirely. A firm with advertising awards isn’t the same as one with product design awards.
For product and UX work specifically — where outcomes matter more than aesthetics — award winning agencies that combine recognition with documented client retention are the lower-risk choice.
